President Trump appears to be driving at least some of his supposed supporters in the United States Senate crazy as he makes comments and sends out tweets that are irresponsible and obviously racist.That’s what happened when Trump tweeted the other day that the 75 year-old man who was knocked to the pavement with a bleeding head wound by Buffalo police must have been a “set up.” In other words, a hoax.That, of course, came in the aftermath of the George Floyd police murder in Minneapolis, which resulted in worldwide protests against police racism and calls for reform. And today, Floyd’s brother testified tearfully before the House Judiciary Committee, pleading that lawmakers not let his brother die in vain.We cover all of that in this podcast.
