Hear the Good News and Drop Everything

It’s a quiet night in the fields for the dregs of society. These lowlifes who couldn’t get a better job sleepily tend their flocks of sheep. All of that is quickly forgotten when the sky explodes with a heavenly messenger bringing Good News that the Messiah is born! What can we learn from these homeless outcasts? How can we be shepherds responding to the Good News? This is “Hear the Good News…”We live like Chernobyl, but God wants us to live like shepherds. We have urgency about all the wrong things.
