HEAR THE HOLY SPIRIT: New Testament Scriptures Containing the Word "Blood"

For a full list of prayers available through this podcast and our website, please follow this link:  https://psalm71.podbean.com/e/full-list-of-available-prayers-1513057365/   NOTE:  This reading has been recorded ONCE, for listening, agreeing, and memorizing.       This episode is a reading of the majority of New Testament verses containing the Greek word "αἷμα".  It is hoped that this presentation will broaden our listeners' exposure to Biblical themes; to provide a vehicle for memorizing important scriptures; and to encourage more frequent scriptural examination.   "αἷμα" generally indicates the following meanings:  1. blood, of man or animals 2. the seat of life 3. of those things that resemble blood, e.g., grape juice*  (*mainly an Old Testament usage, and not found in this episode)   This episode is one of a series of broadcasts which focus exclusively on presenting scripture by centering around the uses of specific terms. Greek is useful as the language of choice for collating the scriptures in question, since certain primary sources of both Old and New Testaments are available in Greek, whereas the same cannot properly be said of Hebrew.  Due to the source from which the verses were extracted, most of the verses are phrased according to the American Standard Version (ASV), or the Revised Version (RV).  Some of the language has been slightly adjusted in order to make the context and meaning of each verse as intelligible as possible.
