Heart Condition Troubled

from Hope Beyond the Hurt Hosted by Trisha Warren

Did you know, you can be in trouble without letting trouble get in you? Trouble can show up as stress, pressure, hardship, adversity, uncertainty, or circumstances that make you feel like there’s no way out. But just because there is trouble around you doesn’t mean you have to allow your heart to become troubled. In this episode of Hope Beyond the Hurt, Trisha Warren shares what God’s Word says about walking through difficult seasons while keeping your heart established in Him. Psalm 91:15 gives us a powerful promise: God will be with us in trouble, He will deliver us, and He will honor us. Then in John 14:1, Jesus tells us, “Let not your heart be troubled.” The circumstances may be real. The pressure may be real. But you don't have to allow what is happening around you to determine what is happening inside you. We’ll talk about trusting God when you can't see a way out, guarding your heart against fear and discouragement, receiving the peace Jesus has given you, and standing on God's promises in the middle of trouble. You may be in trouble today, but trouble doesn't have to get in you.
