Heart Conditions Disgrace
from Hope Beyond the Hurt Hosted by Trisha Warren
Disgrace can leave you feeling marked by your past, defined by your failures, or convinced you've fallen too far for God to restore you. But that's not true. In this episode of the Hope Beyond the Hurt Podcast, we explore what the Bible says about disgrace and discover that it doesn't have to become your identity. While disgrace can come through sin, failure, rejection, betrayal, illness, poverty, or difficult circumstances, God's heart has always been to remove shame and restore His people. Jesus endured the shame of the cross so that we could walk in freedom. His grace is greater than your disgrace. Together, we'll discuss: What disgrace really means from a biblical perspective. How Jesus bore our shame on the cross. Why failure is never your final destination. God's promise to restore those who have fallen. The powerful account of the woman caught in adultery and Jesus' response of grace instead of condemnation. Key Scriptures: Hebrews 12:2 Isaiah 50:7 Proverbs 24:16 John 8:1–11 No matter what you've done—or what has been done to you—God is able to redeem your story. He doesn't define you by your worst moment. He calls you to get back up, receive His grace, and walk in the new identity He has given you in Christ. 🔗 Connect with Trisha and read articles Trisha's posts on Facebook here:https://linktr.ee/trishawarren If this episode encouraged you, please follow the podcast, leave a review, and share it with someone who needs the reminder that your disgrace is never greater than God's grace.
