Heart of a Father

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for herJames 2:13This week we will be looking at the word that Pastor Marius Gradwell shared on Sunday on the ‘Heart of a Father’.Firstly, we need to remember to celebrate and honour. This applies both as children and as parents. Not only does God love it when we celebrate and honour Him, but also when we celebrate and honour those around us. Celebration reveals what we believe and honour reveals what we value, so it is important that we celebrate and honour what God has placed in each other.Secondly, we need to remember the mission and model that God has given us for family. The mission is to bring the kingdom of God to earth and produce a Godly legacy. The model is Christ and His church.Finally, we need to know that God's heart is for the role of men, and specifically father’s, to be recovered and restored.
