Heart of a Lion: Joshua, a Profile in Courage

Traditional Worship | Bishop Bob Hayes | When we use the phrase “heart of a lion,” it is nothing more than a figurative expression usually associated with bravery and courage. Quite often it is used to commend someone for their boldness or to inspire others to act with similar courage. The Bible is filled with stories of men and women who possessed the ability to tackle formidable forces and obstacles in order to achieve God’s will. Their stories are both remarkable and unforgettable. Hopefully, this sermon series will inspire us to act with determination and fearlessness when we come up against our own challenges and trials.
