Dear beautiful heart, I want to tell you that sometimes our brain plays tricks on us. We hold onto so much pain from a heartbreak because our brain is trying to keep some type of attachment to that person - in the hope that we’ll find our way back. That’s of course not healthy. Reframing the pain and understanding that the lessons from the experience was the object of that relationship can help us move forward.
