Hearts that Hug (Part 2)

  Francis Chan wrote, God’s definition of what matters is pretty straightforward. God measures our lives by our love. According to God, we are here to love. Not much else really matters! Chan’s thoughts are certainly in harmony with what we learned in our first look at Philippians 2:1-5. Specifically, that Jesus has placed His heart of love & mercy within us. He bids us follow Him by using our hearts to reach out and “hug” everyone around us to Him! And as we saw, Christ is always whispering to His followers ... Bring My love ... to this person ... in this moment. Now those who are listening to Jesus say this, will also have a question for Him ... Lord, how do we do this? That’s what we want to discover right now as we listen and put to use the teaching of God’s Word.
