I recently had the opportunity to chat with her about her work with AhHa!Broadway, and get to know more about what drives and inspires her. Buckle up for an inspiring, heartfelt interview!Heather Edwards is Co-Founder of the women-led non-profit, AhHa!Broadway Inc., which provides arts education programming to underserved children, senior citizens and veterans. She trained as a classical pianist and graduated from Berklee College of Music. Heather works as a pianist/songwriter/recording artist who has performed with many types of bands – from funk and rock to jazz and country. Heather conducts, directs, and regularly performs in musical theater around the New York area. In addition to educating children in the performing arts for 25 years, she also enjoys teaching private piano and vocal lessons to children and working with them in musical theater productions as pianist and Musical Director.
