Heaven - What Will We Do?
from Chris Stuart - Tyndale’s Plowboy Hosted by cstpb
The central message of this sermon is that our hope for heaven should not be about escaping reality, but rather about experiencing the full and perfect expression of what God designed us to do on earth. Specifically, it highlights that worship, service, ruling, and delighting in God are essential aspects of our design and will be fully realized in heaven. However, this does not mean that we should only think about heaven as a distant future; rather, it is meant to inspire us to live out these realities in the present, growing in our relationship with God and worshiping Him now. This message advances the belief that our faith is not just about escapism or waiting for some future reward, but about living out our purpose and design in Christ Jesus here and now. The takeaway the teacher wants listeners to understand is that heaven is not a destination where we will experience something entirely new, but rather a fulfillment of what God has been doing in us and through us from the beginning.
