Heavenly Success - It's Not Numbers, Silly

This is true in the story of David's raids in 1 Samuel 30, which is a foreshadow of Matthew 20, the parable of the Vineyard. The point is, we tend to base our ideas about heaven on our own, shadowy earth values. But Jesus, time and again, said, "The kingdom of heaven is like ..."  What we learn in this story of David and the parable of Christ is that in Heaven, reward is based on Love, which is what God is. And we know He so loved the world ... that even those who show up at the last hour, even those who've been too tired to labor in these huge fields of harvest ...
