Hebraic Bible Prophecy Pt 2 ~ Who or What is Zion?

The New Testament reveals to us the role that the Messiah has to gather and unite the exiles of Israel. In order to understand end of days prophecies you need to understand who you are. The prophecies about the ingathering of the exiles are directed to the house of Jacob. The Day of the LORD is the time known as “Jacob’s trouble” and it begins in the darkness part of the day. The God of Israel has orchestrated these events so that He will redeem his people, end the exile and ingather His remmant people and lead them on a journey home to Israel. The God of Israel will reveal Himself to his people in the sight of all the nations: When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations; Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them anymore there.
