Hebraic Bible Prophecy Pt 5 ~ The Sons of Zion will Oppose the Sons of Greece

How will the “Controversy of Zion” be played out in the end of days? To understand the end we must go back to the beginning. Biblical history is prophecy. One of the ways of God is that He works in patterns that repeat over and over. The Maccabees revolted against the Greek empire between 160-167 BC and they ultimately took back the Temple in Jerusalem. This happened in Kislev (December) and the commemoration of this event is what gives us the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah. These historical events are a prophetic blueprint and template for the last generation. There is a prophecy in Zechariah 9:14-15 that speaks about this end of days conflict: When I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and made thee as the sword of a mighty man. And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the Lord GOD shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south. The enemies of Israel will rise up against the remnant people of Israel in the last days. We can see how this is playing out with Hamas and Hezbollah terrorist attacks, and the looming threat of Iran. The nations of the world seek to divide the land of Israel and create a Palestinian state. The spiritual battle the descendants of Jacob and the descendants of Esau is playing out in the end of days.
