Hebraic Bible Prophecy Pt 6 ~ The New World Order and the Hanukkah Connection

Antiochus Epiphanes IV declared a “New World Order” under the auspices of the Greek empire. He made several evil decrees. We see that he is a shadow picture of the future Anti-Messiah. During his rule over the Middle East, Antiochus wanted to “Hellenzie” the entire known world so that “all would be one people.” This is the same goal that the “New World Order” has today! Antiochus set forth these evil decrees: *People should NOT follow the Torah *people should not offer burnt offerings or sacrifices in the Temple *people should not keep the biblical Sabbath or the biblical festivals. *people should not circumcise their children *people should eat unclean food including pig The purpose of these decrees was to restrain the Jewish people from following the Torah.
