Hebrew Roots/Messianic Christian Zionism Warning-Part 4 5/24/2009 & 5/31/2009 There is a growing movement within Christianity, which contends that Christians need “to return to their Hebrew Roots (HR).” The leaders of this movement purport to be teaching believers the “Hebrew Roots of Christianity” through the study of Jewish teachings. So in these studies we will be taking a close look at the teachings of the Messianic and HR movements, as well as Judaism itself. By examining the HR teachings, the Jewish faith, the Talmud and it’s mystical occultic connection to Kabbalism, we will then see if what is taught upholds the Word of God. We are reminded in Colossians 2:6-9: “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him: Rooted and built up in Him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” A Jewish man by the name of Mr. Harold Wallace Rosenthal, made this statement: “We Jews continue to be amazed with the ease by which Christian Americans have fallen into our hands…we have taught them to submit to our every command.” This submission has been made possible by the gradual adoption of Talmudic concepts as being Christian.
