Hebrews 10:1-25 - The Inadequate Vs The Adequate

This is the final section dealing with the priesthood of Christ which is in the order of the Melchizedek priesthood. This theme, along with the contents of this letter, was deemed necessary because of the temptation these believers were experiencing from the Jews to turn from Christianity back to Judaism, which meant back to the old testament ways and sacrificial system.  With that, the writer ends his teaching on the doctrines of the New Covenant, so now he’s ready to bring an exhortation based on that teaching.
