In this episode we examine 1 Samuel 28. After the unfaithful Saul expended the rest of his virtue by his continued disobedience to God's law. When he sought guidance from God once again, God didn't answer him. He then went to the Witch of En Dor, a medium for guidance in order to bring up Samuel. We have the same problem today. People will not seek God's help or guidance until there is a crisis and fear grips their heart. They attempt to gain guidance through ungodly means. This gives us valuable lessons in our church and civil leaders today. We need to continually seek God's word and His counsel everyday through the reading of the Word of God rather than simply when we get into a crisis. What "familiar spirits" are people going to today instead of God's word?
