Hebrews 2:9-18 (God Came Down and We Were Lifted Up)

What does it mean that Jesus became fully human? Hebrews 2:9–18 reveals the incredible answer: God came down to us so that we could be lifted up. In this message, we look at Jesus as the last Adam, the power of our salvation, the One who disarmed Satan and defeated death, and our sympathetic High Priest who understands our suffering and is able to help us in our weakness. Jesus didn’t stay distant from our pain, He entered into it, conquered it, and made a way for us to be brought near to God.
