Hebrews 7:11-28 - The Priesthood Of Melchizedek Pt 2

The author has presented and answered the question of who this person is but now we need to know why this is so important and pivotal.  And that is answered in the next part of chapter 7. The writer summarizes why it’s important that Jesus came as a priest of a different order declaring the priests of that day as "former priests" no longer needed.  He also says it is time to set aside The Law as well because it was interwoven with the priesthood. (A side note in the sermon is how only believers have separated The Law into three parts while the Bible never does because it was, in its totality, a unit.)
