Hebrews 7

Hebrews 7 discusses the high priesthood of Jesus Christ in comparison to the Old Testament priesthood of Melchizedek. It highlights the superior nature of Christ's priesthood, stating that he is without beginning or end and is not subject to the limitations of mortality. It then goes on to point out that the Levitical priesthood was temporary and is now obsolete, giving way to the eternal priesthood of Christ. The chapter emphasizes the supreme importance of Christ's sacrifice on the cross as the means of obtaining salvation for humanity, and encourages believers to hold fast to their faith in him.
