Hebrews: A Better Covenant (Chapters 8-9)

Hebrews 8:12-13 says, God said, in that New Covenant, He's made the first obsolete, ‘what is growing old’, the writer will say, ‘is ready to vanish away.’ Welcome to our study of the superiority of Christ and His covenant as found in the book of Hebrews. As always, we want to encourage you to locate your Bible and have it handy as we're going to look to the Word of God in our study of the majesty of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In Hebrews chapters 8 through 10. We're now thinking about the superiority of Christ's covenant. In chapters one through seven, we've seen the superiority of Christ over all these wonderful Old Testament figures, Moses, Abraham, Joshua, Aaron, the Levi's, greater than all of those even though they were great men. Now in Hebrews eight through 10, we're going to be emphasizing not only is Christ superior, Christ’s covenant is also superior.
