Hebrews: Better - Stay Faithful! - Hebrews 3:1-19

You’re under fire. You’re tired. A lot of things have changed in your life during the past 18 months or so. But, like to the recipients of this powerful letter in the 1st century, God’s word via this spokesman is to stay faithful to Christ. I think you’d agree that life as a Christian is a bit like a journey with the maps app activated on your phone. You are headed forward, towards Christ, the direction he’s called you in. And then the voice starts up. It tells you to turn left, turn left, turn left. But yet, you know the way is forward. You stick to the route. And then it comes again, the voice: make a U-turn. But again, you know that you must keep going forward. So the question is, next time the voice makes a divergent suggestion, how are you going stay on the road towards Christ? How will you stay faithful to Christ on the road ahead this week, this year?
