Hebrews Chapters 8-10

In this episode, we read Epistle to the Hebrews chapters 8 through 10, where the writer explains how Jesus Christ established a better covenant through His perfect sacrifice. Chapter 8 introduces the new covenant, showing that Jesus serves as the perfect High Priest and mediator between God and humanity. The old covenant pointed forward to something greater that would ultimately be fulfilled in Christ. Chapter 9 describes the earthly tabernacle and sacrifices under the old system, explaining how Jesus entered the true heavenly sanctuary and offered His own blood once and for all to bring eternal redemption. In chapter 10, the writer emphasizes that Christ’s sacrifice fully removes sin in a way repeated sacrifices never could. Believers are encouraged to draw near to God with confidence, remain faithful, and encourage one another in faith and good works. Hebrews 8–10 reminds us that Jesus’ sacrifice is complete and sufficient, giving believers direct access to God and the confidence to live faithfully in His grace.
