Avro's iconic Vulcan Bomber is one of the most recognisable of the RAF's Cold War aircraft. A mainstay of the V-Force, the Vulcan seemed to leap from Avro's Manchester home and seem light years ahead of the Lancaster and Shackleton that preceded it.
