Hedges Hits Big for Guardians | Cleveland Guardians News

Austin Hedges is having a breakout season, turning heads with his bat while still dominating behind the plate. At 33, the Cleveland Guardians catcher is slashing .270/.338/.397 with five homers and a 1.0 bWAR — a career-high potential. His game-changing two-run homer against the Angels on August 24, with his parents in the stands, was a clutch moment that energized the team. Hedges, who’s walking more than striking out, is proving his offensive value and helping fuel a five-game win streak. He’s treating every game like a playoff, and if this keeps up, he could eclipse his previous bWAR peak. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
