I got to tell you something, and I'm not like I said, I'm not the sappy type, but over the weekend, I was just flat-out sappy about America. I'm always grateful to be an American. Never am I not grateful. But my gosh, it was great to flex our muscles and have these flyovers and all these drones and— I couldn't keep track! I was trying to see all these things and check all the—the websites for the stuff that— There was a drone thing there looking like an eagle, and there was something else there. I don't even know if the Sophie Cunningham one, you know, the basketball player, if that was a drone thing that was fake or not, because anymore with AI, who knows? But wow, we just showed who we are. And I just— [laughs] Texter said, "We gave the middle finger to all the haters." Didn't we though? Yes, we did. Oh, yes, we did! Here, that's it. We're loud and we're proud. Or as the Charlie Daniels song used to go, "We're—we're talking real loud and we're walking real proud again." It was so good. Just great to—to see it, and President Trump was just fantastic. And y'all know that I—I get on him once in a while. I voted for him three times. There are times I get on him, I've not been real happy with what's going on with Iran and all that stuff lately. I'm not even going there because I don't want to be negative about this. I'm enjoying this time. And we'll see what happens. So, no president's perfect, obviously, but darn it, he was good. I'm just going to skip through some of the parts that I, uh, have highlighted in his speeches. I like to watch—watch them, obviously, live and then pull the transcript and kind of highlight the things that really stuck out in my mind. Just skipping through here, okay? "No other country has done more good for this world than the United States of America." Absolutely true. "Throughout the entire history of humanity, most people in most places have lived a life plagued by suffering, poverty, exploitation, violence, and misery." I don't want to gloss over that. Trump is right. Throughout history— We still have people whining that there are rich, rich, rich people and there are poor people. There have always been poor people, and throughout human history, the vast majority of people lived in abject poverty. And the very, very, very elite few had everything, and everybody else was just a serf. Read a history book—not the ones they give you in public school. Trump goes on to say, "But here in America, in this land, on this continent, we've written a very different story. It's a tale of adventure, liberation, and unmatched greatness. It's the story of a people governing themselves." Once again, he's right. How—how many other countries even allow you to have any kind of a say in who is going to run your life at any level of government—locally, nationally? How many people would just love that? And you know, the other day, I was asked again to speak—I've spoken to most of the Republican groups around where I live every year. I usually do—make my rounds of speaking to them all. And I got a call from an—for another group. This happens to be a Republican Women's group, and it's a great group of people. They're very involved politically, they really try to get Republicans elected, and blah, blah, blah, good. I'm glad, okay, great. But the lady I was talking to said, "The problem is, we got a lot of people aren't going to vote this time." Well, believe me when I tell you that there are some people who are going to be running on the Republican side that I'm not thrilled about either, but I was thinking about that. And we all get disgusted. We do. We all just go, "Oh, great. This guy made it through the primary? This girl? Oh, brother." So, I understand.
