Heidi Harris: Hey guys, always a privilege to be here with you, giving Charlie a well-deserved day off. It's a holiday for a lot of people, but I'm here with you. I'm grateful for our freedom. And listen, I know we're not perfect. Everybody knows we're not perfect, but darn it, what a great country to be born in. Of course, not even getting into the birthright stuff, I'm just so bored with it at this point. I'm mad about it, don't get me wrong. I'm really mad about it. But that's, you know, no surprise there from our Supreme Court. Although, sometimes they have good rulings, that wasn't a good one. That wasn't the spirit of it all. But I'm grateful to have been born in this country. I mean, people are still beating our doors down to get here, as much as those who criticize us constantly complain about us. Many of them would love to live here if they possibly could, and I'm grateful to be here. You know, a lot of people would—did not predict we'd even make it this far, and historically, a lot of countries with anything like the system of government we have don't survive this long. And most of the time when nations don't, it's because they, obviously, are destroyed from within. I mean, if you think about that, there's a great book, if you ever get a chance to read it, it's called How to Win an Election. And it was written by Cicero's brother in—ready?—64 BC. And one of the things it talks about in this book is the idea that the people closest to you are most likely to betray you. You know, whether it's somebody leaking information about your campaign or whatever it might be. And that's the same way with a nation. When you've got people in a nation who are willing to do terrible things to try to hurt the country, whether it's espionage or whether it's just trying to vote against somebody's rights, and I mean—you know, we know that's always going to happen. But we've got to stay strong. And one of the reasons there are so many attacks on families—you've all heard me talk about families many times on Charlie's show, and Tara's show, and Bill's show—is because the family is the backbone of the nation. Strong families make a strong nation. And that's why there are so many attacks on families. People constantly trying to make it sound as if any group of people is equal to mom and dad and the kids they actually created. And there's a lot of that out there. And just constant attacks on the family, and constant—and you have to wonder when you see these videos online, women complaining about men, men complaining about women, and how much of that is put out by bots? I don't know. Because if you look on X—and I'm on X, you can follow me, Heidi Harris Show on X—I see all kinds of people whining about marriage, or whining about this or that. And once in a while—yesterday I put out something, I said, "Well, I'm going to say something nice about marriage because nobody else is. I'm grateful to be married to a man of character. I picked him for these reasons and not those reasons, and that's why he's a great guy." But you have to wonder, are these things put out by bots? I mean, are that many people really disgruntled about their lives? I don't know. But—I don't want to go down that rabbit hole, but the point I'm making is there are people constantly trying to push and elevate and basically make everybody think as if, you know, the dating pool sucks, you can't find anybody to date, everybody's lousy, the guys are jerks, the girls are jerks, you know, all these things are attacks on the family, which weaken the nation. And that's how we destroy ourselves from within, because a strong family—think about it, a strong family, that means a strong community. Your children are obviously going to—more likely, I know good people, excellent people, who have kids who are jerks, but generally, you have a good, solid family, your kids are going to be solid people. And a nation full of solid people is not easily controlled, can we all agree on that? ...
