Full Transcript: Hour 4, Segment 1 Heidi Harris: I am always happy to be in American, but over the weekend I'm telling you what, I was in tears watching some of the things that went on. Whether it's the tall ships, or the flyovers, or just all the things that were demonstrating how amazing America is, and I am so thrilled that President Trump was our president during this momentous time. Can you even imagine Biden or Kamala Harris? I cannot. I guarantee you it would not look of anything like it looked over the weekend. It was incredible. And I watched the, uh, big event that they had in Washington, D.C., which of course got delayed, delayed, delayed, uh, but it was worth it. I missed actually the fireworks where I lived because I didn't want to go outside the house, I wanted to watch what Trump was doing. And it was fantastic. I want to share a little of his speech with you, just the parts I highlighted, I'm not going to read through the whole speech of course. Just parts that I highlighted that I thought were great. And he gave a great speech the night before at Mount Rushmore which was also great, I shared some of that earlier in the show, so you can rewind the show and listen to that later if you want to. "For two and a half centuries," he said, "our American Republic has stood as the crowning achievement of human history. This country is the home of freedom, it's the land of liberty, and this is a flag that's the banner of the most extraordinary, most exceptional, most incredible nation ever to exist on the face of the earth." Right. That's who we are. He said, "People have done more good, shown more courage, made more progress, righted more injustice, or achieved more greatness than you, the American people. Nobody has." "For 250 years, the United States of America has been the hope, the promise, the light, and the glory among all the nations in the world." All over the world, they try to be like us. That's right. He talked about the fact that the entire world has been put on notice that Americans will never let anybody take our freedom away. Will not happen. He also highlighted a couple of tremendous veterans, one of them was 107! 107! [laughs] these guys. It was great. It was great to see that happen, this is Lieutenant Rose, his name was Lieutenant Arthur Rose. Lieutenant— 107. D-Day. Wow. Iwo Jima, veterans— I mean, he just— he just was amazing. I love the way he highlights those people and the incredible sacrifices they have made to America. To all of our freedom. I mean, the sacrifices and the time they put in, even— and obviously, the sacrifices that others have made for their, you know, of their very lives, for our freedom, have always been appreciated by him and by all of us. Going to read the last part, he said, "On this 250th 4th of July, we declare, just as they did two and a half years ago, that for our country and our children and the cause of liberty, we're going to take our country to new levels, to levels not reached. We're going to make it bigger, better, stronger, we're going to love it even more." That's right. Absolutely right. I'm so happy Trump's president at this time. I've had my issues with him, things I've disagreed with him about, I'm sure he's not going to take my calls on that, but my point is, I'm thrilled that he's my president right now, at this time in history. 800-905-0989, that's the W-O-R-D talk line, where we find David in Westminster.
