Heisman Echoes at Jack Trice | Iowa State Cyclones Basketball News

History collides on Saturday as Iowa State faces Bowling Green in a game steeped in Heisman lore—where Troy Davis and Eddie George once stood side by side in 1995, with George claiming the trophy. Now, George coaches the team Davis will battle in the very stadium where his legacy began. The Cyclones aim to rebound after a sluggish offensive showing, with questions swirling about play-calling and whether backup QB Connor Moberly should get more reps before a brutal stretch—including a showdown against Utah. Meanwhile, fans gear up for Kenny Chesney’s June concert at Jack Trice Stadium, a venue that’s already hosted rock legends like the Rolling Stones and McCartney—making this year’s show a potential crown jewel… or just another great night.
