HELD FIRM: LIVING BEYOND FEAR

📖 Scripture “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” — Isaiah 41:10 Devotional Message Fear is one of the enemy's greatest weapons. It seeks to weaken faith, cloud our judgment, and keep us from walking in God's purpose. Yet God repeatedly tells His children, "Fear not." Why? Because His presence and His mighty right hand are greater than every fear we face. To be held firm by God means that your security does not depend on changing circumstances but on His unchanging character. His righteous right hand is strong enough to support you when you feel weak, steady you when life feels uncertain, and uphold you when the weight of life's challenges seems too heavy to bear. Throughout the Bible, God's people overcame fear by trusting in His promises. Joshua entered the Promised Land because he believed God's presence would go with him. David faced Goliath with confidence because he knew the battle belonged to the Lord. The disciples continued preaching the Gospel despite persecution because they relied on God's power rather than human strength. The same God is holding you today. His right hand calms anxious hearts. His right hand strengthens weary souls. His right hand brings peace in the middle of uncertainty. His right hand reminds you that you are never alone. Living beyond fear does not mean fear will never come. It means fear no longer controls your decisions because your confidence is anchored in God's faithfulness. Choose faith over fear. Trust His promises more than your emotions. Pray instead of worrying. Stand on His Word instead of focusing on your circumstances. The God who holds you will never let you fall outside His loving care. When His mighty hand is beneath you, you can move forward with courage, knowing that He is guiding every step. Today, Ask Yourself What fear am I allowing to influence my decisions instead of trusting in God's mighty hand? Prayer Almighty Father, thank You for holding me securely with Your righteous right hand. Replace every fear with faith, every worry with peace, and every doubt with confidence in Your promises. Help me to trust You completely and to live courageously, knowing that You are always with me. In Jesus' name, Amen. 🙏
