After witnessing the miracle on Mount Carmel, Elijah fled into the wilderness exhausted, discouraged, and afraid. Under a solitary juniper tree, the Lord did not rebuke him. Instead, He fed him, let him sleep, strengthened him for the journey ahead, and finally spoke—not through the wind, the earthquake, or the fire—but through a still, small voice. Whether today has been filled with stress, disappointment, anxiety, or simple exhaustion, this meditation invites you to release tomorrow into God’s hands and rest in the quiet assurance that He is near.
