"Hello, caller, you're on with the Commissioner..."

from KELY 1230AM/98.5 FM News and Commentary · host Wyatt Cox

Well, we finally found something to not criticize the White Pine County Commission about.  We received word this week that there’s now a White Pine County Commission Hotline.  When you call 775-289-7777, you get “Thank you for calling the White Pine County Commissioner Hotline”.  You then get the option to leave a message for any of the five county commissioners or for the White Pine County Clerk.  Now, I’m not sure whose idea this was, but it’s not a bad idea.  It’s inexpensive, and to be honest, it’s a lot better than just venting on Social Media.  If you’re upset about how this commission is handling business, treating staff, or in general just being clueless, give them a call.  775-289-7777.  That’s 775-289-7777.  Of course, it requires you to be more than a keyboard warrior, you actually have to dial your phone and speak into is.  But give it a try.  The commissioners might actually listen…or maybe not.
