The "Hello Kitty" movie, a hybrid animated/live-action project from New Line and Warner Bros., has been given a release date of July 21, 2028. While details about the film remain under wraps, its announcement after a period of silence confirms the project is still moving forward. The article notes the considerable wait time for its release and speculates on whether its success might be influenced by the performance of other "Mattel Cinematic Universe" films following "Barbie."
