It's time for Ray and Rob to wrap up their first season of HELLO MOVIES, MY OLD FRIEND! To ring out the year, they have decided to embrace the winter cold by revisiting the 1999 sports comedy MYSTERY, ALASKA! This hockey classic revolves around a small Alaskan town and the myth surrounding a weekly hockey match called "The Saturday Game". When Sports Illustrated prints a story about this long-held tradition, written by a former townie, interest arises to pit Mystery's scrappy players against the New York Rangers. This opportunity sparks a firestorm within the town to prove to the world that they are just as good as any professional player on the ice. With starring performances by Russell Crowe (L.A. CONFIDENTIAL, THE INSIDER), Hank Azaria (THE SIMPSONS, QUIZ SHOW) and many more, this chippy comedy swings a slapshot at the net, but does it still score?
