Help Wanted - Priest (1st Samuel 2:12-36)

In 1st Samuel 2:12–36, we see a priesthood that has become corrupted and leaders who have lost sight of God. Yet even in the darkness, God is at work rebuilding what has been broken. The story ultimately points us to Jesus, our Great High Priest, who perfectly knows the Father, keeps His Word, and gives Himself to secure our redemption. As those who belong to Christ, we too are called to live as His priests in the world—knowing God, worshiping according to His Word, and bringing Jesus to those around us.
