Helper Faires (Tom Walma)

from Creativity Wasted · host Tom Walma

Idea: Community events based on a theme (such as clothes, electronics, baby stuff, food, etc.) where people in the community get together to sell, donate, recycle, make, repair, customize, mentor/teach, etc., all based on that particular theme. Kind of like a flea market, recycling center, repair/customization shop, etc. all in one. The goals are to make charity and recycling more convenient and efficient, and to bring people in a community together (including people of different income levels, for example: rich people getting clothing repaired/resized at the same place that poor people receive clothing donations) Originally from Creativity Wasted episode 87 Chris Young (twitter.com/chrisyoungcomic Comedy Special Video: drybarcomedy.com/specials/chris-young-buoyant-mon) Camila Ballario (twitter.com/CamilaBallario Music Album: camilaballario.com/store) Dan Thomas (twitter.com/DanTComedy) Tom Walma (twitter.com/thomaswalma) Recorded at Podcast Detroit (https://podcastdetroit.com)
