Because of their pivotal role in the community, physicians can provide excellent support for bereaved people and can often direct them to additional resources. Katherine Shear, a physician, and Stephanie Muldberg, a bereaved mother, join us to discuss how grief can play out in the consultation, and explain the importance of doctors acknowledging the death of a patient's loved one.
