Helping Children with Learning Challenges Win in School

Sometimes you just have to take matters into your own hands.That’s exactly what Dawn Strachan did. With her primary school aged daughter and son  facing learning challenges - and unable to muster support for them from her local school system, Dawn realised that she would need to find her own solution.So she leaned into her university training in early learning development and education and created her own methods for helping them with math, spelling and reading.  Dawn realised two fundamentals:  learning needed to be fun in order to keep the student engaged in the lesson.
