In the season of bounty and Thanksgiving, Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler Harper tells Scott that circumstances are dire for Georgia family farms. Hurricane Helene has been a gut punch for farmers already dealing with higher costs, inflation, commodity prices and devastating weather. Harper says food security is a matter of national security and especially alarming is the agricultural trade deficit that is tilting outside the USA.
