Welcome to the Faith & Family Trailblazers Podcast! In this episode, we’ll explore how we can support our child in achieving their goals and making their college dreams come true.  Ava has extensive experience in education, college admissions, teen parenting, and navigating life as an entrepreneur. She has served as a school director for ten years and an educator for 20 years, both in and out of the classroom. She started a college consulting business to bridge the gap between high school preparation and college, helping students find their niche and voice for successful college acceptance. Ava’s household is centered around education, and she wants to help other teachers and educators succeed. Ava conducts her own student testing and assessment to determine how students fit into college and their values. Her entrepreneurial endeavor involves bootstrapping and wearing many hats as a small business owner, figuring out all aspects independently. She wants to provide any advice from personal experience that might be helpful to others, especially educators, on what to watch out for when starting a similar venture.
