Helping Teen & Adult Kids Making Poor Choices

from Inner Strength Insights with Jamie Knapp: Scriptural Insights for Latter-Day Life · host Jamie Knapp

This week I was at a school volleyball game to watch my kiddo. (And yes, they are still my kiddo in my mind even though they have long-since outgrown the title!😆)A mom saw me and told me she watched my podcast every day. She listens to try to help her grown son who is making some "dumb" decisions. As I listened, one thing stuck out to me more than anything else: She LOVES her son, and she would do anything to help him. That conversation, that space, was sacred to me. I had to leave to drive to another child's practice, but that conversation didn't leave me. And, I knew I needed to talk about that mother's heart. About how we help our kids...and how heaven helps them...when they are not making their best decisions. And so, to that mom, and every parent or grandparent who loves so much...this episode is for you. ❤️  In this episode, I talk about: 1. Why kids (whether they are 2 or 42) make dumb choices 2. How we can help 3. What heaven truly wants us to know when we're faced with a struggling child. If you have a question you would love to see answered on the podcast, go to www.innerstrengthparenting and leave an email to let me know! I'll do my best to include it in upcoming episodes! Whether you're using this along with Come, Follow Me or to strengthen yourself and raise amazing kids, welcome! I hope this episode helps you love your life, live your mission, and raise kids who do the same!
