Helping White People Understand Racism

The murder of George Floyd, by a now former Minneapolis police officer, was the catalyst for the racial reckoning we are now experiencing in the United States. Many White people are shocked that racism still exists, have trouble understanding institutional racism, and are frankly, stumped about what to do about it as individuals. On the next Another View we will talk about race from the perspective of White people who are struggling with the concepts of microaggressions, equity and privilege. We will provide perspective on the difference between being a "non-racist" and an "anti-racist". And we'll answer the question, "How do I talk to my children about race?".
