Henry Ford Museum unveils artifact of Civil Rights Movement
from WWJ: On-Demand
The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn will be unveiling an artifact of the Civil Rights movement: the gold floral upholstered living room chair from the Jackson home in Selma Alabama. It's where where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. sat when President Lyndon B. Johnson announced the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Cynthia Jones, the Director of Museum Experiences and Engagement at The Henry Ford, spoke with WWJ's Greg Bowman. (Photo Credit: Reg Lancaster / Stringer/Getty Images).
