Black Gate Distillery was established in 2009 as the first warm climate whisky distillery in NSW, specialising in Australian single malt whisky and dark rum brewed and distilled on site Born in Broken Hill, Brian is a fitter machinist and automotive mechanic by trade, school teacher by accident, and distiller by choice.
