This week, I’m happy to welcome Amanda Furbee into The Healing Home. Amanda is an herbalist, savvy business woman and owner of The Herb Shoppe in Portland, OR. She is also in charge of the Herb Shoppe’s non-profit herbal clinic. She along with other herbal practitioners offer affordable herbal consultations to the community and “mutual aid to help empower people and long term support for recovery.”  I met Amanda back in 2013 while working as and Intern at the Herb Shoppe. Amanda took me under her wing and helped me gain confidence as an intern.
