Herbalists & Healers, NOW is the Time to Show Up with Karly Ketron

from Herbaceous Conversations · host Asili Herbs LLC

I never thought I'd be alive to witness the global shift we're in the midst of. It's daunting and inspiring and a whirl of other emotions all at once. I sat down with a fellow sister and herbalist, Karly Ketron, to discuss how to determine what our communities need and how we, as herbalists and healers, can heed to the call. She is applying the knowledge that she learned to her love of teaching through her podcast, "The Wise Wytch's Medicinal Plant Podcast" and her social media platforms because her heart's work is leading her to ensure that herbal medicine is available to everyone. She currently lives in Mendocino County where she is assisting her partner in the development and production of a permitted, regenerative, organic cannabis farm. Along with the sacred medicine of cannabis, she is building an herbal medicine oasis and hosting space for her budding apprenticeship program. Karly loves to spend her time in the kitchen- making medicine (whether it's food or a tincture), playing in her garden, and is in her most purest state of joy when she is fully submerged into a body of the Earth's water.
