Good morning everyone. Today, I am recording this episode. After I created an intention, there was an intention in me, a desire, strong desire to do one podcast episode, write an article in media publications and plus do a YouTube video shot. So as you all know, if you have been following my podcast, when I turned 60, I said I'm going to start my own podcast.
I have no idea how to do an art of techie person, but then I just decided and I started and I'm so happy. I think that I know about 200 episodes. Then the next year, I think 61, I started writing in media publications. Then in 62, I said I want to do this YouTube shot because I know, I know it's a bigger video.
They take a bigger video and probably edit that into one minute. It's one minute and that's how some people do their YouTube shot. I mean, I went and researched and I saw various ways of doing it. Then I said, what is it that I'm familiar so that I can integrate that familiarity?
I get 50% or maybe bring the familiarity, the skills that I already have, and then integrate into the new challenge so that I can go into the flow zone. If it's too challenging, then you will give up. That's my experience. If you do not know the skills, you will come up.
So I had skills in Canva to do the Canva.com. I've used that. I also have a little bit, I know a little bit about YouTube. A little bit.
So the intention here is to integrate all the three. That's all. That's the single project focused attention and focus energy needs to flow through the single project. So as of recording, this recording, I just want to let you know that my YouTube shot is published.
I'm going to publish shortly. I'll be sending my publications to this writing to my publication. But before that, I'm going to record this episode. So whatever I've written as a draft in four, which is going to be submitted to the publication, I'm reading it as a podcast episode.
Alright, the topic is I realized this when I speak in the second person to me. Trust me, it's not weird. When you do that, subtopic, when you do that, compassion and intrinsic motivation flows through you. So I have given a screenshot of all the three, the episode, podcast episode, page and also medium article page and or YouTube shot page as an image in that article.
A few days back, a burning, simple desire from my inner productivity queen, LOL. Maybe ask the following question. Lolita, you have been hosting solo podcasts for over two years. You have written a medium publication for over a year and a half.
You have fed your new desire by doing three YouTube shots. Now, find a way to integrate all these. I guess doing my affirmations and conscious, empowering, and responsible self-talk is helping me ask these questions. As you can see in the bio words, I'm unconsciously or subconsciously acknowledging my achievements.
With compassion, achievements of doing the podcast, writing a medium with compassion and gratitude. How? By talking in the second person, you, I keep saying you, you, Lolita, you have done this, you have done that, you have done that, second person. And at the same time, just as a parent who encourages her child to go to the next level, suggesting a new idea, I'm inspiring myself to take up a new project.
I said, Lolita, why don't you try integrating all the three? Two things have happened here. Number one, I don't have external pressure to do a certain way, or am I seeking any approval from any authority figure. Number two, I feed my inspirin intrinsic motivation, compassionately, to take responsible action steps with faith, fun, and a creative mindset.
This is way different from extensive motivation which comes from outside. Sorry, what happened? Today, being the weekend after I nourished my body with 40 minutes of beautifully and brilliantly structured home workout program by Heather Robertson, I got the strongest desire to start this new project. I use the Anchor app on my phone to create my podcast episodes.
I use my laptop to write and publish on medium.com. I use Canva and YouTube applications to create YouTube shots. Now, you can imagine my thoughts. Yes, you got it right.
YouTube Shot or article or podcast episode, which one should I begin? This is what I did. I used my cell phone to watch Heather Robertson's video and worked out. As soon as I was done, I was enthusiastic to share my workout experience.
I said to myself, as YouTube Shot's duration is under a minute, what three questions come up to me right now that I can answer in one minute and impact my audience and create a YouTube Shot? I opened my cell phone's note pack application and wrote three questions and answers quickly. Then I created the video in the Canva app and uploaded the MP4 video to YouTube. Here is the link to the YouTube Shot.
I focused on completion versus perfection, and I've given the link in the article. Here is the link to my podcast episode. Again, I've given the link to my podcast episode. I'm super happy and sure started typing my entire experience with to share with you.
I hope I'm inspiring you in one of these ways so that you can take one action step and run with it. One, you could start becoming compassionate to yourself and be conscious of your self-talk. Or, and you can do both. When you get inspired by a new idea, be bold to try new things, embracing your core values.
Do not give up on that. YouTube can create your own podcast episode, your articles and videos. Thanks to Dr. Gabriela, Kurose, Sahil Patel and Mary Chang for their wonderful publications, editors and writers.
And I've given the link to their publications. I'm also tagging two writers from each of the publications for their valuable contributions, Lisa Precios, Smiley Blue, and Divya Goswami, Heaven's Healthy Healing, Madison Cheni, Nancy O, Sandy Persis. So with that said, again, the last is my bluer. Please subscribe to my stories by email for the best chance to catch my original works.
