TRANSCRIPT · AUTO-GENERATED

Good morning everyone. Today's topic is here is one simple but awkward method I use to relieve stress and the subtopic is EFT emotional freedom technique is my favorite way to release stress. Even though I thought I know the meaning of stress, reading today's question slash prompt nudged me to quickly research stress related topics. That in itself put me under tiny psychological stress.

Nevertheless, I want to quickly summarize my research project to keep up with the under 700 words requirement by the publisher. Stress can be defined as any type of change that causes physical, emotional or psychological strain. Stress is your body's response to anything that requires attention or action. The term stress as it is currently used was coined by Hans Sier, Celia in 1936 who defined it as the non-specific response of the body to any demand for change and I have given the link stress.org.

What's your favorite way to relieve stress? EFT emotional freedom technique is my favorite way to release stress. First, EFT stands for emotional freedom technique and was founded by Gary Craig in 1995. Its earlier forms involved stimulating the acupuncture meridians while tapping on them with the fingertips.

That's why it's often called tapping. You can learn more and I have given the link to EFT website emophry.com. I have spent tapping for over 10 years. It is awkward.

However, in my opinion, as the technique involves tapping, talking and checking the feelings, it's a perfect combination to invoke all the three parts of the triune, which is triune brain which is rectilin, limbic and neocortex. What's the key message today? EFT emotional freedom technique helps me improve my physical health, stay calm and centered and have a clear state of mind. I'm less anxious, more productive, expanding my awareness and enriching my relationship with people.

It is worth giving it a try even though it may seem and feel awkward to tap. And here is the blower by the end. Please see your membership fee directly supports Lalitav Brahma and other writers. You will also get full access to every story on medium.
