Here not There

“Then if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ,’ or ‘There He is,’ do not believe him.” (Matthew 24:23) The consequence of not getting into the only life raft in sight is death. Jesus of old is that life raft. It is one thing to suffer a life without the ability to be satisfied. It is another to reject the satisfying life. Jesus said, “Like the serpent in the wilderness was lifted up for anyone who looked to it to be healed from their poisoned life, I too shall be lifted up. Anyone who looks to Me and trusts Me for life will have it.” He was lifted up, and you can now look to Him. You will be healed of the poison of distrust. There is only one life that satisfies. I see You, Lord Jesus. I am perfect and complete in our union. I look to You and am healed.
